💙 RESPACK Advances Menstrual Health Education at SJKC True Light
RESPACK recently conducted a menstrual hygiene awareness programme at SJKC True Light, with the aim of guiding upper primary school girls to better understand puberty, personal care, and self-confidence during this important stage of growth. The session was carried out in a friendly and comfortable setting, encouraging students to learn and participate with ease.
The programme introduced students to the changes that occur during adolescence, helping them recognise menstruation as a natural part of life. Emphasis was placed on building good hygiene practices, fostering self-awareness, and empowering the girls to feel confident in managing their daily routines both in school and at home.
A highlight of the session was an interactive demonstration by the ACTIV team, where students were shown how to properly use ACTIV sanitary pads, including ACTIV Ultra Thin Pads. Known for their lightweight design, comfort, and effective absorbency, these products were presented as practical solutions for active lifestyles. The team also shared guidance on correct usage, timely changing, and proper disposal to ensure good hygiene habits are maintained.
To support their learning beyond the session, each student received a sample pack to take home. This allowed them to explore the products more confidently and apply what they had learned in their own time. The session also created a safe space for discussion, where students could ask questions and gain clarity on topics that are often misunderstood.
